ACG’s Management have extensive EPC experience in a tier one environment which brings a depth of knowledge with constructability reviews, schedule management prioritising critical activities and managing designers and assessing their progress. ACG have a proven track record working on Design and Construct projects.

ACG’s Management team is balanced between all disciplines and is well placed in the market to provide a turn key project delivery solution.

ACG have strong relationships in the market with civil, mechanical and electrical designers and although we don’t directly execute the design we have extensive history with the design houses we use, know how they work and due to this confidence have taken on the EPC project and associated risk.

Any projects success depends on the design being practical and delivered in a timely manner. This is one of ACG’s strengths with its people’s experience in breaking the project down and understanding the construction requirements and time frames for each element to set the project up for success.

A quality assured project provides repeat business and ACG’s reputation depends on the end product meeting the requisite Client and Australian standards.

To achieve this result we have developed a quality assurance system including management plans, procedures, inspection and test plans, check sheets and calibrated equipment to ensure the project deliverables are met on time and to the appropriate standard.

Whether it is pre-qualifying a sub contract, inspecting a OEM vendor or completing welder qualifications or NDT on fabrication, ACG has the system to achieve the desired result.

A dedicated QA co-ordinator assists with project set up and ensures the ACG procedures and forms are correctly applied and approved by the client for project use and audits compliance.

Site engineering teams administer the documents and inspect the work at the determined hold points, including client and vendor sign off.

ACG have completed construction activities including civils, and electrical works on a number of Substations across the East Coast of Australia, sub-contracting to a tier one Company. We have knowledge of the specifications and requirements for a number of TNSP's including Transgrid, Powerlink, PowerCore and Mondo.

Members of our team have also managed a number of Substation projects for a tier one Company for the above mentioned TNSP's.
